Sullivans Cove American Oak Single Cask Malt Whisky

The American Oak is Australia’s second-highest awarded whisky!  Before the French Oak, it is the gold standard for Australian whisky, achieving Liquid God status in Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible.  In 2018, American Oak followed the legacy of the French Oak, was awarded ‘World’s Best Single Cask Single Malt’ at the World Whiskies awards.  Another proud moment for Australia!  Singe cask, non-chill filtered and matured in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels.  This one is TD0336, no. 233 of 257, distilled in Nov 2008, bottled in  Feb 2021. A 12 year old beauty!
