An independent bottling of Mortlach single malt which has been matured for 25 years and bottled at 43% ABV. This is an amazing value for a 25 year old whisky. Bottled in 2019 from first fill & refill Sherry casks, it would be very hard to find another bottle like this!
This expression was released as part of Gordon & MacPhail’s Distillery labels series, and features a handsome retro label.

Stewed blackberries and cooked apples, with a good whack of cinnamon thrown in. Subtle malty vanilla in the background..
Long finish, Chilli-chocolate and coffee beans.
