Imperial Distillery was built in 1897, the year of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee, it stood majestically amongst the dark woods of Carron, in a fold of the hills which encompass the glittering Spey. It is now a closed distillery, so whatever we can find now is a piece of history. This particular expression was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2017, it’s a sherry cask.
