You can smell the charred oak, the dried fruits, dark chocolate orange freshly peeled from its foil. There’s plums, rhubarb and blackcurrants
Stewed fruits, raisins, currents, dates and figs. Lashings of sherry and smoked meats with a salty, seaweed sensation. There’s nutmeg and ginger, plenty of peat smoke and charred oak.
Long and lingering finish. Sherry and smoke, coffee and toasted nuts, black pepper and spice.
